Team Bulbasaur Project Blogs:

March-24,2022: Eighth entry for Project Retribution, this week started with the good news of happy Union goers and a continuation of College program delivery. On the team Bulbasaur side of things we ... had a bit of a bug chasing, wheel spinning week but, the machine that we are keeps moving forward. Val was focused on Hubworld tile creation, which is coming along beautifully from rivers to buildings and city details.
Troy continues to be revered audio man regularly chasing sound manager details trying to chase issues across scenes, I'm to understand he's gotten it sorted out now. Mark had an interesting past week from correcting a "mananger" leading to conflicts, to having a learning experience on how to restore accidentally deleted git branches, very fun week :-D somewhere in there he even snuck in transition "you win" scenes for the mini games.
Sean championed the timer for Restaraunt Rush and has started into pause menu implementation. As for me,

I have learned the strife of pixel art once more and my respect for the artists who do this regularly or as a career only grows. Ultimately the idea of Fire Fighter will be you have windows on your building on screen where the fires will spawn randomly in windows and the player will need to clear an amount of flames to be determined in playtesting within a reasonable amount of time, likely a minute.
I'm meeting with Val to improve the flame sprite then I'll be adding both the flame and backgrounds to the project. The building background was left transparent on Val's suggestion so that we could use the Unity Camera color tools to create a fire like background behind the buildings that way and otherwise the flame interaction in Unity will be very similar to the pots in Memory Match where they are buttons spawned using a grid aligned to the background. As always, having fun and looking forward to how this game looks in another week.
